Daniel has enjoyed his tenure at the state operas of Hamburg and Vienna, and regularly works with the leading singers of the world such as Erwin Schrott, Elena Zhidkova, Anna Netrebko, and Camilla Nylund.  Since 2010 Daniel has taken an interest in developing singers in all stages of their careers – from beginners to well-known opera stars.

 

As a regular coach of Anna Netrebko, he assisted with her transition into the dramatic repertoire, and participated in the recordings of her “Verdi” and “Verismo” CDs. He is currently coaching her upcoming debuts.

 

From 1986 on, Daniel Sarge worked on a regularly basis with Elisabeth Schwarzkopf as an accompanist for her masterclasses, while also accompanying various recitals throughout Europe.

 

Daniel Sarge gives master classes internationally on conceptual techniques such as, “Phrasing, Articulation and Style” and covering styles from baroque to modern opera.
