In Partnership with Mahidol University

The Vienna Summer Music Festival has Partnered with Mahidol University.  This is a special application page for Mahidol students who are interested in applying for the Vienna Summer Music Festival.

The $35 application fee has been waived for students of Mahidol University.

Special Offers for Mahidol University Students

  • Orchestra Program (June 10th - 23rd)

    • Receive all the same offerings as other participants​

    • Flat fee of €900; includes lesson, masterclass, housing (private room with private bath, shared kitchen with other festival participants on your floor), local transportation ticket, performances/rehearsals with operas.

  • Composition Program​ (June 7th - 21st)

    • Receive all the same offerings as other participants​

    • Admitted participants will automatically receive a €1250 scholarship 

    • Housing included in tuition (private room with private bath, shared kitchen with other festival participants on your floor)

  • Opera Institute (June 1st - 23rd)

    • Receive all the same offerings as other participants​

    • Admitted participants will receive a scholarship between €1500 - €2750

  • Artist Ignite!​ (June 10th - 23rd)

    • Receive all the same offerings as other participants​

    • Admitted participants will receive a scholarship between €750 - €1250

  • Musicology Colloquium​ (June 10th - 23rd)

    • Receive all the same offerings as other participants​

    • Admitted participants will receive a scholarship between €950 - €1350

  • Music Education​ (June 13th - 23rd)

    • Admitted participants will receive a scholarship between €450 - €1000
