"Originally from Gilbert, Arizona, I’m an incoming junior at the University of San Diego, where I’m double majoring in Music Performance and Computer Science. My musical journey started at the age of five with piano before discovering my true passion for the violin in the 5th grade. I began my violin studies under Dr. Christiano Rodriguez and currently study with Ramón Negrón.
Throughout my musical career, I’ve been a dedicated member of several ensembles and music education programs in Arizona. I performed with the Phoenix Youth Symphony and the Tetra Chamber Music Institute, gaining invaluable experience in both solo and ensemble settings. Since 2018, I’ve also been part of Harmony Project Phoenix-a nonprofit dedicated to providing music education to underserved youth-where I served as a volunteer teacher, music librarian, and concertmaster of the Juvenile Orchestra. Harmony Project gave me the opportunity to have masterclasses with amazing violinists like Boson Mo as well as Arizona State University's violin professor Dr. Schwartz.
Between 2019 and 2023, I was also selected to perform with the YOLA (Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles) National Festival, where I had the honor of playing under Maestro Gustavo Dudamel at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. I also have roots in mariachi music, having been a member of Los Mariachi Saguaritos, with whom I won the youth division at the National Mariachi Competition in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2018.
At the University of San Diego, I’m proud to continue balancing my studies in music with my work in computer science."

Come see her perform this July in the Vienna Summer Music Festival!
