Privacy policy

What we collect

• What you enter in the application: your name, email, phone, school, references, program, recordings, scholarship essay, and the files singers upload (resume and headshot).
• The status of your payments. Card and bank details go straight to our payment provider, Stripe; we never see or store them.
• What you write to us by email.

Why we use it

• To review your application, interview you, make you an offer and run your summer in Vienna.
• To send you emails about your application: your Application ID, sign-in codes, reminders, receipts and your offer. You can stop reminders with one click in any of them.

Who sees it

• The festival's staff and the Application Review Committee.
• The services that run the application for us: Amazon Web Services (hosting and storage), Resend (email) and Stripe (payments). They use your information only to provide that service.
• We never sell your information or use it for advertising.

Cookies

The online application uses one cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.

This website uses Google Analytics to see how visitors use it. Visitors in Europe are asked first and can choose Allow or No thanks; the choice is kept for 180 days.

How long we keep it

We keep your application for as long as we need it to run the 2027 season and to meet legal and accounting duties, then delete it.
