Born in New York City and raised in Madrid, Spain, to a classical music-loving family

Born in New York City and raised in Madrid, Spain, to a classical music-loving family, Alba Morales-Millan developed a desire to play the clarinet at the age of five.
After a year of learning how to play the e-flat clarinet, she auditioned for the Conservatorio Profesional de Arturo Soria, where she continued her classical music and jazz studies for the next ten years of her life. For most of her time there, she was also part of “La Capilla Real Choir de Madrid’’.
Currently, Alba is a junior studying with Ayako Oshima at the Conservatory of Music at Purchase College, where she continues to develop her skills and expand her repertoire as the principal clarinetist of the Purchase College Symphony Orchestra. Since August 2024, Alba has been part of a wind trio for the New York Youth Symphony Chamber Program.

Come see them perform this July in the Vienna Summer Music Festival!
