Meet Annalisa Illian, mezzo-soprano

Annalisa Illian is a mezzo-soprano whose love for music began early through choral studies and has grown into a passion for bringing operatic characters and stories to life. She has studied and performed roles including Despina in Così fan tutte, Suor Osmina in Suor Angelica, and has explored the fiery music of Carmen, performing favorites like “Seguidilla” and “L’amour est un oiseau rebelle.” In addition to her stage work, Annalisa has built a broad repertoire spanning composers such as Schumann, Strauss, and more, reflecting her dedication to both operatic and art song traditions. A student of Dr. Tamara Hardesty at Valdosta State University in Georgia, she is passionate about the arts and committed to continually growing her craft as a performer.

Come see her perform this July in the Vienna Summer Music Festival!
