Taryn Turner is a performing artist originally from South Burlington, Vermont, who recently graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Arts in Performing Arts: Music under the voice instruction of Dr. Lisa Sain Odom. During her time at Clemson, she participated in many masterclasses with professionals such as Andrew Bryne, Natalie Weiss, and Julie Fowlis. She performed Into the Woods and A Year with Frog and Toad through the Clemson Theater Department, and was featured as a soloist in the 2021, 2022 and 2023 Sounds of the Season Choral Concert. As a finalist in the 2025 Concerto Competition, she had the pleasure of performing “Quando me’n vo” from La Bohème with the Clemson Orchestra during their spring concert. Recently, she traveled with Clemson Choirs to perform “Mozart’s Coronation Mass in C” at Carnegie Hall with the New England Symphonic Ensemble under the tutelage of Dr. Anthony Bernarducci. This past spring Taryn, as well as the other ensemble members of Clemson Cantorei, had the privilege to partake in the recording of Dr. Anthony Bernarducci’s first EP featuring 7 of his original compositions. The album titled “Something Beautiful Remains” is set to release later this year. In her free time, Taryn enjoys painting, walking with her friends and planning her next travel adventure. She is so excited to join the Vienna Summer Music Festival this year!
