Meet Annalee Kalbfleisch, freshman horn player

Annalee Kalbfleisch is a freshman horn player and vocalist studying music performance at Northern Illinois University. She currently plays with NIU’s wind symphony, horn choir, marching band, and the Heavy Metal Horn Quartet. She sings with the opera theatre program, and serves as music director for the Harmelodics, an all-treble A cappella group. Previously, she has played with the Youth Symphony of DuPage, as well as many high school ensembles, such as the symphony orchestra, symphonic band, jazz band, and Latin groove ensemble. Additionally, she was chosen for the ILMEA district 9 senior chorus, and the American Choral Directors Association state and regional level choruses.

Aside from music, Annalee is pursuing minors in Environmental Studies and German Studies. After graduating, she hopes to study conducting.

Come see them perform this July in the Vienna Summer Music Festival!
