Meet Renae Sullivan

Renae Sullivan is an eager, young artist and a rising senior at Sarah Lawrence College in New York where she studies music and languages. She recently finished an academic school year in Paris, France at Sarah Lawrence College in Paris and École Normale de Musique de Paris Alfred Cortot.

Along with her studies, Renae also enjoys writing her own music and recording covers. You can find some of her music and covers on any streaming platform under her name.

Renae finds true joy in sharing her passion for music, whether that be performing for others or teaching younger artists. She has taught piano to kids ages 5-9 and also led a band of kids 14-16 at her childhood summer camp that she holds very dear to her, giving one-on-one lessons and scoring/writing music for bass, guitar, piano, voice, drums, and trumpet. Born and raised in Las Vegas, NV, she has sung with many choirs and was involved in multiple theatre productions at her high school, with notable roles including Cinderella from Into the Woods and Katherine from Disney’s Newsies. She has continued her ensemble work, performing with multiple chamber ensembles and the choir at Sarah Lawrence.

Renae is beyond excited to be making her operatic debut and feels greatly honored for the opportunity to perform in PLUTO and to be a part of the Vienna Summer Music Festival.

Come see her perform this July in the Vienna Summer Music Festival!
