Meet Lazuli Clark, college freshman

Lazuli Clark is a college freshman at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. Hailing from North Shore Massachusetts, they started with a background in musical theatre and have been studying classical voice for about 2 years with performances of note being: Ein Deutsches Requiem with CCM choirs conducted by Dr. L. Brett Scott; Haydn’s Creation with the MIT Singers conducted by Andrew Clark; Mozart’s Requiem on Symphony Hall stage with H+H conducted by Harry Christophers; Film Night at the Boston University Tanglewood Institute in combination with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and conducted by John Williams; and performances as Betto in Puccini’s “Gianni Schicchi” as well as chorus in “Così fan Tutte”, “Dialogues of the Carmelites”, and “Hänsel und Gretel”
Lazuli currently studies with Elliot Madore and has previously studied under Corey Gaudreau, Dr. Jadrian Tarver, Penelope Bitzas, and Dr. Devon Russo. In addition, they seek to study with as many different mentors as possible, performing in several masterclasses with instructors such as Gail Dubinbaum, Rachel Calloway, Olga Flora, Paulina Villareal, Jeffrey Springer, Benjamin Brecher, Isaac Hurtado, and Sahoko Timpone. They hope to continue their music career through college and become a full-time, professional opera singer once they have finished their studies.

Come see them perform this July in the Vienna Summer Music Festival!
